The Rogersville
Main Street Program and the Rogersville Arts Council is sponsoring a
Trunk or Treat Event on October 31st from
This event is to
provide a fun and safe Halloween night for the children of our community
and will feature many activities throughout the evening.
The idea of Trunk
or Treat is to have cars parked along Main Street to give out candy from
the trunks of the car as the children move from car to car down Main
Street. The car trunks need
to be decorated for Halloween.
You will need 3 volunteers dressed in simple costumes to hand out
candy, mark the candy card that each child will have (so they can’t
trick you twice), and to help things flow smoothly.
You will need to provide candy for approximately 1,000 Trunk or
Treaters and provide a Sharpie to mark cards as they come through.
Cars will need to
be parked on Main Street from 3:00 to 8:30.
Attached is a
registration form to be filled out and turned in to the Chamber Office
by October 24, 2009 if you would like to participate in this event.

waive and release all claims against the sponsors and/or the Town of
Rogersville and/or the Chamber of Commerce and /or the Rogersville Arts
Co. and/or Rogersville Main Street from any and all damages, loss or
cost to person or property resulting either directly or indirectly from
the use of said premises and/or from the exercise of the privileges
granted by this permit and shall hold harmless the sponsors from any and
all claims resulting therefore.
