The 3nd
Annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Main Street in Rogersville on
Saturday, October 31st from 5-8pm.
Trunk or Treat is a safe alternative to trick or treat with lots
of candy for everyone. Main
Street will be blocked off from Hasson Street to Brownlow Street and
cars will be lined up down the street.
Participants are asked to decorate their car trunks and bring
enough candy for 3,000 children.
Awards will be given for the best decorated trunk.
Activities will
include a costume contest, music, hay ride, a fortune teller, face
painting, cotton candy and popcorn, drinks and trick or treating out of
the car trunks.
Send the attached car sponsorship
form to the Chamber Office to reserve a space for your car.
We must have your application form by October 24.
Downtown
Merchants will be open that evening for your convenience.
This event is
sponsored by the Rogersville Arts Council, Rogersville Main Street
Program, and the Rogersville/Hawkins County Chamber of Commerce to
provide a safe and fun place for children to trick or treat.
