Christmas for the Children is now taking applications for the upcoming 2017 Christmas season

Christmas for the Children (CFTC) is the Hawkins County ministry operated by Of One Accord Ministry which serves needy children with Christmas each year. CFTC which serves over 1,000 children in Hawkins County, is now taking applications for the upcoming 2017 Christmas season. Jennifer Kinsler, the program director takes applications Mondays through Thursdays at the Rogersville office located at 103 Brownlow Drive across from the Shepherd’s Center. The hours are 10am-3pm. Applicants need to bring (1) proof of income, (2) proof of current address (3) proof of eligible children and (4) correct sizes of children’s clothes and shoes. Once an interview takes place, children’s names will be placed on different lists for parties throughout the county and parents will be notified which party they are to attend

Reformation Movement 500th Anniversary Observance Prayers for Unity

October 30st marks the 500th anniversary of the start of the Protestant Reformation and St. Henry Catholic Church will hold an observance service at 6pm on Monday 30st at their church in Rogersville. The purpose of this observance is asking God to bring the churches of our community, region and nation more closely together in unity.

The center is an extension ministry of the Holston Valley Baptist Association, providing free and confidential services to all women in Hawkins County. Nar-Anon Family Group

Ministry is held for parents of drug addicted children and other addicted family members. The meetings are at the Rogersville Presbyterian Church, 309 W.
